The design is a 20th Century Chinese day bed that I just adore and love and comes with 6 different fabrics that you can choose from by clicking on the cushions. Hey guys -welcome back! I think I am getting the hang of blogging a bit more frequently. Today I wanted to do something different and experiment with color blocking. What is color blocking, you ask?

We all remember the color wheel, right? We have our primary colors – red, yellow, and blue. Next comes the secondary colors – orange (mix of red and yellow), green (mix of yellow and blue), and purple (mix of blue and red). So image that these colors are on a wheel, with the secondary colors between the 2 primaries that make them up. So if we take yellow and purple, they are complementary to each other, and would make a high contrast look.

Purple and yellow right? Surprisingly, I didn’t have too many purple items that would be good for the look that I wanted to achieve. And I hardly have any yellow items in my inventory…yikes! I did like how the pink trench coat from Ricielli looked, so I decided to start from there. I took one of my favorite pairs of jeans (from Zaara) and tinted it purple, and added a splash of yellow color by using an old dress from Paradisis as my top under my coat. To add more yellow, I used yellow accessories that I think worked out nicely. Next time I will make sure to use more of the complementary color in my outfit…I think this would had totally rocked if I had like a long yellow sleeveless shirt with maybe a cropped jacket in a third color.

Wicca’s Wardrobe Paranoid

Lately I was talking to Natzuka Milandrovic, a very close friend of mine and we came across the new ‘trend’ of combining fetish elements to high fashion, couture and avantgarde. If I remember back, when I started modeling in SL it was not even to think about and nowadays more and more designer and agencies try to do that. After a while she told me about a casting, that as well requested stylings with fetish parts and she showed me the outfit she made by herself for this casting. I totally fell in love with and after I told her that she was so kind and gave it to me with some poses that are made for this cool outfit.

As I saw the name of the outfit and the poses I had to grin and immediately I had the song “Paranoid” from Back Sabbath (linked above) stuck in my mind. So as I was styling the outfit, I listened to it most of the time and maybe that’s why the styling became a bit… crazy.

The outfit is named “Paranoid” and so is the pose set as well Nat founded a brand for all her different creations called Flighty Pixels. For this brand she did not set herself any boarders so I definately will keep my eyes on what she will create

The “Paranoid” outfit contains a corset, the panty stripe some lace at the chest and the huge cool head-piece. I only added soe socks, the “Gothic Platforms” from L&B and the “Elle” hair from Zibska. The amazing arm tattoos are made by Talyia Tarber for her new brand The Makeup Artist. The amazing spades that cover the nipples, the front chest and the left eye are part of the “Spades” makeup and tattoo layers from Nuuna’s.

With this interesting and cool outfit from Flighty Pixels Creative and the poses by Flighty Pixel Poses, Nat built a great base for her new brand. She already made quite a few poses besides the “Paranoid” set and I am really curious with what she will come up next

On February 22nd. I received an event notification that read,

"Ladies and gentlemen allow me to direct your attention to the center stage where you will bear witness to terrifying sights that will haunt you to the day you die....behold the Circus Diabolique and let the nightmare begin”.

That was enough to make me dig through my messy inventory and pull out my best clown costume and get ready for the show.

As I continued to read, “Be drawn into the world of the dark circus in this second dance piece by artist Fae varriale and her dance company DiversionzDance, which was created as a vehicle for marrying her love of contemporary dance with a love of creating immersive artwork, Choreography, environment design and costume concept by Fae Varriale”.

Yesterday I got amazing news from ][PULL][. Melissa46, owner and designer of ][PULL][, made a wonderful limited collection for February and the "Limited Herm Bodysuit" jumped into my eye in the moment I saw the picture of it. I put it on and I fell in love with it. It is not a total crazy outfit but the simplicity and the wonderful lace attachments just caught my heart.

I wanted to create a nice and simple but not boring look for the "Limited Herm Bodysuit" and I just added the "Bubble Glam Tights" from LeeZu. The "Karya" boots from Miamai came to my mind and I liked the way of the simple straps on the plain black boots.

While I was thinking about hair, I remembered a cool and smart-looking short hairstyle from EMO-tions' latest releases called "Anna 2". The black and white theme really started to become fun and while i was looking for a head-piece the "Oda" headpiece from PurpleMoon fell into my hands again.

To complete my black & white look I added the "Westwood Contrast BW" makeup from LovelyMi , combines with 2 different lipsticks of Silken Moon that, I just put over each other and the wonderful "Superior" lashes from Redgrave. The "Aliza" earrings from SoliDea FoliEs in black and white made the perfect finish for this look.

For the poses I wanted to use something that goes with the simple style but not just casual poses. I remembered a set of PosESioN, that I got a while ago. After trying all of them I could not really decide wich ones I liked the most, so I just snapped all and thought on a little picture with all of them so you can see wich great poses are in the "Aliza" set from PosESioN

Amarelo Manga has managed to produce a lovely series of colorful, elegant and really smart outfits, completing them with accessories such as sunglasses and new handbags.

Today we start with red and orange, the first is Sheila, a cute dress in Poppy Red, with a beautifully detailed lace top part, the distinctive sign of AM this season, in this photo I accessorized with Amarelo Manga sunglasses and turquoise clutch.

The second outfit is the Heloisa jumpsuit in Nectarine, sexy, elegant and really comfortable, you can dress it down or up according to the occasion, here I wear it with the matching clutch bag called Luxury.

REFLECTIONS The UWA Centenary 3D Art Challenge – L600 000 Prize Pool

And thus is launched the 4th of the UWA Grand Art Challenges with a L$600,000 prize pool. A quick summary. One artwork per artist. 150 prims max to the theme REFLECTIONS. Submit entries here at the UWA main gallery. The earlier the work is submitted, the greater the chance for the artwork to feature in one of the Machinima for MachinimUWA VI, which will launch on the 1st of March with the same theme. Entries will go on display immediately! The sooner the works are in, the longer they are on display.

OVERVIEW
This is a single round only lasting 4 months, 1st Feb 2013 - 30th May 2013. The biggest difference between this and previous major art challenges is that unlike the first 3, this one has a theme.

The theme is "REFLECTIONS"
This art challenge in OPEN TO EVERYONE. The theme is REFLECTIONS with a 150 prim limit per artwork, and limited to ONE ENTRY PER ARTIST.

WHY THE THEME REFLECTIONS?
The UWA Centenary 3D Art Challenge is run in tribute to the 2013 Centenary of the University of Western Australia, as UWA reflects on its 100 years of existence and ponders the question of what the next 100 years will bring. The 2012 Art Challenge was also run in tribute to the Centenary. 2012 is 100 years since the first staff were hired at UWA and 2013 is 100 years since the first students started studying at UWA.

In recognition of this milestone a Special Centenary Prize of L$50,000 will be awarded to the artwork that best reflects the spirit of the UWA Centenary, as determined by the UWA members of the judging panel.

This Challenge is sponsored by OPEN THIS END, with thanks to Cristina García-Lasuén (RL) / Aino Baar (SL), PEACE IS A CHOICE Gallery, with thanks to TheDove Rhode, Virtlantis, with thanks to Kip Yellowjacket, Best of Second Life (BOSL) Group with thanks to Frolic Mills, Secret Rage, The Guided Tour Company, with thanks to JonyBlade Codesmith, Japanese Arts Journalist, Temi Sirbu and UWA, with special thanks to Professor Ted Snell, Director of the Cultural Precinct & Jon Stubbs, Director of Student Services.

All pieces entered across the year may be filmed for various Machinima, and are likely to be filmed as part of MachinimUWA VI (launching 1st March 2013), which will also carry a theme of REFLECTIONS

SPECIAL PARTNERSHIP WITH OPEN THIS END GROUP
There is an even stronger partnership this time with OPEN THIS END (OTE), led by Cristina García-Lasuén (RL) / Aino Baar (SL). A number of entries will be selected by a panel commissioned by OTE to be on display in a Physical (RL) Museum in Europe (more details to come later). This panel will operate independently of the main challenge panel.

ESSENTIALS:
* Artwork entered should be able to be interpreted by the casual viewer as being representative of the Theme. Where the link to the theme is difficult to ascertain, this should be referenced in a NC accompanying the work.
* There is a 150 prim limit. (Up to 200 land impact PE for mesh, but actual prims must remain under 150.)
* 1 entry only per artist
* DEADLINE: 30th May2013

Place the artwork in the art entry receiver at the UWA Art Challenge platform (no perms required, but copy is appreciated if possible) . If you have problems with the receiver give artwork to Jayjay Zane or Jayjay Zifanwe along with Artist NC:

To submit entries for REFLECTIONS: The UWA Centenary 3D Art Challenge, visit the UWA 3D gallery platform, and drop your entry in the receiver. You do this by selecting the entry in your inventory (left mouse button) and then press CTRL + drag the entry while holding down that key to the prim of the receiver. When the cursor is over the poster (red outlines should appear around the receiver box), release your left mouse button and the item is received. Do this for BOTH your entry and your Artist Notecard.

If you have difficulties doing this, give the entry to Jayjay Zane or Jayjay Zifanwe.

Contest Entry Rules:
1) Any artwork/ object can be submitted. They can be inanimate or have animation. They may contain scripts if you so choose - maximum script time of 0.5ms, and anything that runs at over 0.05ms is to have an on/off on touch with time out of 10 minutes max (if you are unsure of your piece's script load please contact one of the Challenge hosts to have it evaluated). 150 prim maximum (or 200 land impact PE for mesh). A 1% tolerance is given to these limits
2) Note that by submitting an entry, you are giving permission to the University of Western Australia to place the objects anywhere on UWA owned land, and to have information and images of the entries placed on UWA websites and on websites promoting the UWA SIMS or events held on the UWA SIMS or to be filmed for Machinima purposes.
5) A valid entry, is any object dropped onto the contest entry receiver that fits the theme. Select your item from inventory while holding down the CTRL key, and drop it onto the contest entry billboard prim (release the left mouse button when your entry is in position to be dropped in).
6) Alternate method of entry is to drop the object into the inventory of Jayjay Zane, who is executive officer for the UWA Art Challenges, or Jayjay Zifanwe.
7) All entrants should join the group 'UWA 3D ART AND DESIGN CHALLENGE’ Group

Cherry Manga (dressed as Little Red) and Analy Piers (Snow White with a following of dwarfs) led tours today starting at 12 SLT through their exhibit opening at The Companion. Suggested windlight was Tor Sci Fi Bridge Oper 1 which was just amazing (Also try A-3AM as it's very different but clearer and you can see Soror's trees in better color) WOW! We, the party of tourist through this exhibit, were amazed at the ebbing and flowing glowing colorful, yet dark, world around us. And yes, it is a VERY adult and graphic version of the old 1790 Brothers Grimm "Little Red Riding Hood" story. The bottom level is by Cherry and Analy with some landscaping by Soror Nishi, and there is a top section by Alpha Auer and her alt Alpho Fullstop. At the top level there is a free cool unique avatar to be had from a gift ball thingy. Alpha credits much of her wolf head features to Leben Schnabel.

Then toward the end of our visit the person I assumed to be hostess, Mimesis Monday, (Proverbium) let me know she is my old friend Frigg Ragu or Norwegian, Heidi Dahlsveen RL. She actually owns the land, The Companion, on which this exhibit is held and is a RL/SL artist and story teller in her own right. She advised me she changed to Mimesis as some people misunderstood her prior name, so she is most often Mimesis now. I've heard she may be doing some storytelling at The Companion.

Anyway.. the wolf face can be seen along the way.. in trees and all over. Little Red meets the wolf and they hit it off dance and get it on, in essence she lost her innocence, is victimized by the beast, but later in a pouring rain of red blood, the wolf gets it in the end. (The knife Little Red is weilding may be hard to see in this picture, but there she is getting revenge)The scenes are pretty graphic. The upper level depicts a group of wolves looking on as their main wolf is slowly spinning pinned or stabbed before them. It was a bit confusing at first.. nothing at all like the story I used to know. Be sure to check it out and I heard it will be open through mid April.

On Fire Rising and Faded in Indyra Originals

It may seem strange that I would be so moved by One Billion Rising when I “own” a submissive female in SL. The concept of it may seem to go against the very whole of what One Billion Rising is supposed to stand for. And I feel compelled to explain here in my personal space as I show you an empowering outfit newly released at Indyra Originals called Faded.

Faded is a smart outfit that is very affordable and comes with all of the colors for one low price. I love it when designers do that because sometimes it’s very hard to choose which color you feel like wearing just looking at the vendors. Am I in a pink mood, or an aqua mood? The two colors are very different from one another, but equally nice.

So back to what I started this post with. When I heard about One Billion Rising in SL, it was late and only some days right before the event. I’d been introduced to Joonie Jatho by my bestfriend Summer Deadlight and she was working tirelessly on the event, one of the many beautiful souls who were involved with setting this touching real life event up inside of SL too and making it happen. Joonie and I instantly clicked and I near begged to be given a banner that I could put up on my feeds to help advertise the quickly approaching February 14th date. I’ve read that there is some controversy surrounding whether or not One Billion Rising in SL actually helped anything for abused women. Some say that raising awareness by doing a dance party does nothing to help the issue. But I’m not so sure about that. It’s about feeling good to be female, being proud of who we are, even those things that traditionally add to making us victims and making us feel as if the violence against us was some fault of our own. Because if you can change the mindset of females who feel like they are not empowered, and start to empower them, the cycle of violence could start to change. We don’t have to apologize for being pretty, sexy, feminine, or gentler. It doesn’t make us less important to what keeps the world going round. This accepted misogyny that seems to exist in so many facets of our lives is disheartening and it can only change one person at a time. I do feel awareness campaigns are helpful.

Faded comes with cool sunglasses hanging from a long tank top. There’s an option to wear a version of the tank that has a shadow for the shades or one that’s plain white if you want to wear the shades on your face instead. Such a nice touch to add! The bag I’m holding in the photo above is from Amarelo Manga, the Crocodile Bag in white. I’m feeling especially pretty here with makeup accents from cheLLe to accentuate the beautiful CandyDoll Lorena skin that I picked up back during Libra Zodiac. I am pimping my pump with Gos point platforms and loving it!

I’m not as distracted as I seem. Back to what I started out saying. I wasn’t able to be inworld on February 14th so I missed the wonderful, wonderful event that took place but I’m still so moved by it and I feel empowered even though I wasn’t there. We are mothers, sisters, daughters, grandmothers, cousins, and nieces, and we should never be subjected to violence, emotional or physical. So how can I “own” a girl in SL and say this with a straight face, you might be asking? I can honestly say that I have never held any one more dear, or in more esteem, than I hold my wife in Second Life. Though our relationship is classified as a D/s relationship, there is nothing at all abusive about it. There is no force and in fact the opposite. It is a loving relationship in which we fulfill for one another deep-seated needs that we both have for reasons that go far, far deeper than kinky sex. Not that we don’t seriously enjoy kinky sex, because we do, but I must say that I feel my flame is the most beautiful, intelligent, wondrous creature on the face of the planet. I would never dream of hurting her, in any way….ever. What she gets from me is what she craves getting from me. It isn’t a game that we play, our feelings are real. We are real. We just happen to meet inside of a virtual world to keep in contact since we live in different cities. I freely say that though I stand over her in pictures and she chooses to kneel at my feet, there’s no doubt who the stronger one is of the two of us. Hands down, she wins.

While I was taking these pictures, I kept stopping to dance to Alicia Keys’ Girl on Fire increasing that empowered feeling I was having. Smart in Indyra Original’s Faded, on fire, and rising higher still. Break the chain, one person at a time.

I really enjoyed seeing Portia‘s blogpost about “that look”, that we all set as default and that we use to start our styling adventures with.

It’s where you start, imagining your nails are perfect, your hair is tied back and you’re staring into a mirror, or your closet, wondering what the heck you’re going to wear today.

Just like Portia I am using Firestorm viewer, in wich I can save my many looks. I have named this look “default” and use it as my Base Zero most often.

Being the skinjunkie that I am, I change looks often, but no matter how often I change, I keep going back to this look…
I guess we all find a shape and skin eventually that we just feel most comfortable in.

As i told you yesterday, today FAKE released the new Miel skin. I want to show you the several tones and make up available for this skin.

FAKE - Miel - New

The tones are caramel, earth, peach, pale and porcelain.

There are five different make up for eyes. The skin comes with several wearing options like freackles, brows and cleavage. The cleavage comes in tattoo layer. Also are available several options color for brows.

I choose a pinky look, remember me a candy lol. But the boots give a touch of aggressive. The shirt with jacket is a new release by *BeReckless*, it is called Helen and it is available in several colors with different images. The upper jacket has an hud to change the color of lines. Also the pants are a new release. They are part of the new line of pants by *Dilly Dolls*, so cute i think!

I wanted to get out of the studio for some exploring and I found a really cool Sim. Abduction Alley Route 606, I told my bestie I was at Abduction Alley and she was like what kind of abduction, I replied aliens…lol I wouldn’t be at some kidnap role play Sim. First thing I saw a Hop Scotch drawn out so I played a bit.

QE at BeWbAPaLoOZa has this super cute Pink Dot lingerie set. I love the top sooo much, I been wearing it out. I got the panties on too they are super hot you can see the pretty lace tops with my low rise jeans.

This Sim has a lot of cool scenery and fun photo opportunities. I sat back here on this gas pump for a rest with an old crow.

Miss Virtual World 2013 – Again BoSL showcased an amazing event on December the 15th 2013, with the finale of the MVW 2013 contest. Many countries were represented by amazing ladies and it was really an exciting event. Designers and models worked together for their 2 final looks. One evening gown and one national costume for each lady. Every year when I saw the MVW finale it was an exciting moment to see the results, that designers and models worked on for so many weeks. Last year I took the challenge to make a full catalogue of all the gowns and costumes. The idea must have inspired some bloggers this year and they started to do that for the MVW 2013 designs. I decided for my own not to do the same again and just would like to showcase my personal favourites. First I thought about to do my personal top 12, but then I figured that I like more than 12 and just thought about doing all the ones that really caught my attention in no particular order

The beautiful costume for Miss V USA 2013, Miss Imani Enzo, was made by Mila Tatham, owner and designer of SoliDeaFoliEs. For this special costume I guess the picture says more than words The Statue of Liberty for most of the people is the landmark of the USA. Mila Tatham made this landmark look very sexy and fashionable. The torch is for sure part of the outfit and you can choose if you use the one with the animation in it, like I did for the picture or if you use it without animation and play your own ones

Wow, I’ve made it nearly 2 weeks without failing or ragequitting! GO ME!

This is another LoTD! Day 11, some of it Collabor88 again. The top and skirt both come from Tee*fy and go perfectly in the same colour, or different colours for a bit of a mix and match! The top comes in both solid and sheer, this is the sheer version, so obviously you can’t wear with an alpha, so I just adjusted my tatas and voila! I love the soft look of them, so cute and sexy! The hair is from Tableau Vivant and is also from Collabor88 like the outfit, shown here in Azure Dip, it’s available in many colours and is unisex too, as it comes in 2 sizes, so men that like longer hair, go forth…. PURCHASE! The Necklace is from Maxi Gossamer and is also a Collabor88 item, available in both Gold and Silver, and Long and Short versions, this necklace is detailed and intricate, and isn’t the only item MG have out for your perusal!

The skin I am wearing is new from FAKE and is the MIEL skin. It’s shown here in Pale, which I think for some people would probably equate to Tan.. but that’s what demos are for… It’s a really nice skin that comes with a lot of options including no brows, coloured brows, freckles, no freckles and complete with cleavage tattoo layers! She is available with 5 makeup choices and an array of tones! A real beauty and one I will be featuring again in the near future, with more makeup options shown!

First I visited MadPea's Room 326 Hunt that starts in a rainy sim that is a cool explore on it's own actually. You buy the MadPea hud for 50L in the newsstand in front of the hotel and find room 326 where your profiles are hidden. Its a "who done it" mystery that leads hunters through some fun SL stores for further clues that end at the Madpea Carnival sim that is an amazing explore than I've previously visited and blogged. If you have patience enough to find all the clues you can win a prize, but I can't tell you what it is as obviously I DON"T have the patience for that because some of the clues were hidden very well and one sim was temporarily down.

POE5 Ends – And the Winners Are

The 2012 Peace on Earth Hunt is over. Awards are in order for those who made this year’s hunt a success (for me and, maybe, for you, too).

MIAA Attire by Diram

Hey everyone! Today’s look is brought to you by Diram. I got this outfit at Fashion Limited this month (it’s sold out already, but it’s available at the mainstore at its full price).

It’s been a while since I worked with prim attachments with clothing, so it took me a bit longer to get styled up than usual (thank you mesh for leaving me more time to shop!). I love the combination of the cropped blazer jacket with jeans. It sort of reminds me of one the older GUESS ads, with a cropped jean jacket and the striped shirt. I tried to find an example of what I meant by that, but as I said…it’s an older ad

I got the boots from Gos earlier last year, but never really had a chance to wear them until now. They had an update…whoops. Something about this look screamed “campus” to me, so I added a bag and went on location to walk around and see the sights.

Hello!!! Between crashing and not being able to see mesh I have managed to create a look, which I hope you like:

♥ Hair: Analog Dog – Mint, I had seen this hair so many times on flickr and I always wondered where this cute short wavy hair was from? Until I found it and I love it! I tried demo first because it’s mesh hair so I had to relog to see it finally, I don’t know why my viewer messes up with mesh lol.
♥ Gloves: Indyra Originals – Black Lace Gloves, FREE, just locate the circled box at the entrance and buy it for 0L.

The following goodies can be found at Collabor 88, but be aware of the lag it’s furious lol!

♥ Headpiece: Glam Affair – Hanami headpiece in natural. This flower for the hair is so freaking cute! And it comes in 6 colors!

♥ Dress: R2 – Metallic Dress, mesh goodie and it’s only 88L!! There are matching boots available as well. The back part of the dress is delicate and lovely! And I realy like the color combination made in the dress.

My personal favourites of MVW2013 – National Costume of Miss Netherlands 2013 by GizzA

The next national costume I would love to show you is made by GizzA for the Miss V Netherlands 2013, Miss Linnda Scofield. I have to admit as I saw this outfit during the MVW 2013 finals, I had to look 3 times as I could not believe what I saw… The “Linnda’s Dutch Breeze” is more a piece of art than an outfit for me. Linnda was pulling a whole meadow behind her with some super cute windmills on it. The dress itself has great color changed from the top to the bottom. It starts with a red chest part. Its prims reminded me of the typical tulips that we all know for the Netherlands. It turns green like the down part of a tulip and then the great meadow starts that finished in a wonderful brown tone. For me it really is a wonderful design that perfectly represents the Netherlands and a lot of its typical symbols.

“For my national gown I used the Dutch landscape as my inspiration. The Dutch countryside is known for its meadows, windmills and flowers like tulips. Giz has made a great combination of the dutch properties and created an amazing and wonderful gown.”

My personal favourites of MVW2013 – National Costume of Miss Portugal 2013 by Tres Beau

The national costume of Miss V Portugal 2013, Miss Jade Spectre, made me look up. Between all the gowns and costumes I saw one of a sudden pants and boots… That I had to see closer and I tried to zoom on Jade without crashing during the MVW 2013 finale. The pants made a light masculine, strong look. Paired with the super feminine ruffles and the detailed textures of Kimmera Madison, owner and designer of Tres Beau, just made a perfect outfit that for me and a great representation of portuguese tradition and history. For a better information about that, I would like to quote Jade herself with her little text for her national costume.

Jade Spectre:

“I wanted to pay tribute to the Cavaleiros – the remarkable women bullfighters who represent the rich history and long-standing traditions of the Portuguese culture. My respect for these women goes really deep and is unique to the Portuguese culture, so I decided I wanted to also bring that to the Miss Virtual World Pageant, but with a totally different approach to the style and design. Still specific to the theme, but with a more couture flair.

These brave women perform on horseback in rich 18th century, colorful and extravagant designs. The Portuguese tradition of bull fighting is more compassionate and more of a show of tradition than other forms of bullfighting. Other than the Cavaleiros riding on horseback, they nor do the Matadors of Portugal kill the bull during the ceremony, nor do they harm it in any way.

The costume is highly detailed with rich gold accents, trim, brocade, and embroidery. The undershirt, pants, cuffs and back of the jacket are very detailed in gold embellishment. The colors of the Portuguese flag – red, green and gold are represented, but in different shades to make the costume more authentic and comparable to the actual costumes of the Cavaleiros. Therefore we used the custom green of the Portuguese Flag, mixed with a deep burgundy transition to represent the red of the flag. The gorgeous ruffle collar and skirt along with the skirt attachment give a touch of modern couture to the design. The authentic hat, patterned trousers, broad shoulders, and arm cuffs are very important to the look of the costume reflect the strength of those women and replicates details of their true costumes. I chose this National Costume to honor the women of Portugal in modern and present day society, and their place in Portuguese culture and history.”

Izzie’s new skin Ginerva just makes me – sing so sweetly. Ginerva is adorable, fresh and so clean that I feel like a new person with it on. SCIFI Eliza SYS-Project/January Round

Yep, it's me again. I know that this post is a bit late, but like the old saying goes, "Better late then never." [:ME:] (Mirror's Enigma's) current skin @ SYS-Project is Eliza for $99 L's. In the bundle you'll find the special shape, 3 different make-up's, and each different make-up has 2 different eyebrow colors. As you all may know, I enjoy to RP (role-play) from time to time. I think this current look would be perfect just for that. I had so much fun putting this look together. I fished for the outfit at Sn@tch. In-which inspired me to come up with this look. Please feel free to visit any of the creator's pages below. I do like to try and link y'all up to the information.

I would also like to add a few things about my RL (real life), and some of the reasons why I don't blog more often. During my Winter break from college, (Business Major), I almost had to go out of state. My RL brother almost died, again, right before Christmas. He and I have grew apart some since our father's passing. For the past 10 years, my brother is/was a chronic whiskey drinker, and it has taken its toll on his liver. I just would like to remind people that its just fine to drink, but to drink with responsibility. Also, I would like to say, I have been sick lately. I got that good ole cold this past Saturday, and been trying to get over it. Also, I currently have a growth on my thyroid gland, and in need to have a biopsy. I'll keep you all posted as I know more.

My college classes resume on January 16, and looking forward to the new term. I'll be taking 3 classes. Ugh! Talk about homework. LOL! Anyway, thank you for reading, and sticking with me. Love you's.

Miss Virtual World 2013 – Again BoSL showcased an amazing event on December the 15th 2013, with the finale of the MVW 2013 contest. Many countries were represented by amazing ladies and it was really an exciting event. Designers and models worked together for their 2 final looks. One evening gown and one national costume for each lady. Every year when I saw the MVW finale it was an exciting moment to see the results, that designers and models worked on for so many weeks. Last year I took the challenge to make a full catalogue of all the gowns and costumes. The idea must have inspired some bloggers this year and they started to do that for the MVW 2013 designs. I decided for my own not to do the same again and just would like to showcase my personal favourites. First I thought about to do my personal top 12, but then I figured that I like more than 12 and just thought about doing all the ones that really caught my attention in no particular order

The wonderful “Audrey Cresci Gown” was made by Bouquet Babii, owner and designer of Vero Modero. The dress is stunning in its simplicity. The combination of a mesh corset with a ruffled down end and the flexible skirt with the open front add a very playful and as well sexy touch to the whole look. The wonderful red and green ornaments that decorate the skirt and the chest part of the corset show perfectly that sometimes less is more

Audrey Cresci:

“My National Costume designed by talented designer Bouquet Babii. We were inspired by the costumes of Poland’s famous Polka dancers and modernized the look. We have applied the interrogate embroidery of Polish folkloric handcrafters.
Flower ornaments are the most characteristic expression of Polish art and architecture. As well it takes role in many Polish traditions. Thats why I used flower figure as the main element of my gown and Jewelery.
In Poland more than a thousand years ago single girls wore wreaths of flowers on their heads. They throw to fire their wreaths on the eve of St. John June 22 with the St. John’s fires as an offering to the gods to find their love of life.”

The stunning jewelry was made by Belle Roussel, genius owner and designer of Chop Zuey. As far as I remember the MVW 2013 finale, Belle was the most busy jewelry designer for this years Miss Virtual World contest. The “Pompeii” set made a wonderful addition to the polish look. With the filigree metal parts and the little gems it went perfectly with the amazing ornaments of the dress. You can choose between a set with red gems or black gems

As I said in my previous card I am back with more new releases. I just finished reading the “Mortal Instrument” series and waiting for the “Infernal Devices” to arrive and decided to try to mix and match some stuffs and make a look based on the books .Here is my result.

The jacket is one which I found some time ago on marketplace and I finally got the chance to blog it .It’s can be found at [Deadwool] and is called” Duster Coat “ .This mesh product is available in 3 colors : black ,beige and brown .From the same store I got my pants named ”Lahood pants” available in :black ,blue and brown

For the shoes I decided to put on my JILROXY new releases “Grid Walker”. I wanted to show these one to you a long time ago but because of the New Year party I was a bit busy .Available colors include : brown blue and black.

As I promised I will be back as soon as possible with more new releases from second life. One thing that I was always searching in the virtual world was a great pair of slip ons for guys and I finally found it.

You can change the texture of the seat pillows, the drawers open and it comes with built in animations for you to sit. From Razorblade Jacket I have these very nice mesh ‘Hoon Faded Cords’* pants. From American Bazaar are these gorgeous mesh ‘Victor’* sweaters that come in five different colours.
